First Time Set Up

open Word

In the taskbar, click in the box and type "Word" to search for it.

Select the Word program at the top with this icon.

Open a blank document...

pin to taskbar

Pin it to the taskbar...

Saving Files

Option #1

Click on the Save icon...

The first window that pops up is this - first change the name to Holidays, then click on the drop-down menu... choose More Locations

Option #2

Click on the File tab...

Then click on Save.

This takes you to the Save As location. 

save to One Drive folder

Click on your OneDrive folder for Chilliwack School District.

Go into the Computers 7 folder ...

Now that you're in the Computers 7 folder, click on Save.

Now when you click on the file name at the top, it should show that your Word document is saved in your Computers 7 folder.
